Over the past two years, Clemson University and the city of Clemson have embarked on a mission to improve their environmental impacts and to keep the campus clean.

The Solid Green Campaign at Clemson has been working to make these efforts noticeable while showing the University and city that being environmentally responsible requires a group effort.

After 52 student organizations missed a mandatory meeting in early Sept., Clemson University's undergraduate student government has derecognized 41 of the groups.

The meeting's coordinator Patrick Becker, a senior serving his first term in the Cabinet of Organizations, ultimately made this decision after representatives from these groups failed to attend.

A University student is in intensive care after falling from the roof of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity house and breaking her neck this weekend.

Sarah Raymond, a senior from Alpharetta, slipped from the roof of the house on South Milledge Avenue and fractured her skull Friday night, her mother, Shurley Raymond, told The Red & Black Monday.

Baseball player arrested, charged

A University baseball player was arrested Saturday and charged with underage consumption/possession of alcohol, according to a police report.

Matthew Stephen Cerione, a junior from Alpharetta, who is the starting centerfielder for the Diamond Dogs, was also charged with unlawful use of ID, open container and littering.
