Opinions Battle: Should college tuition be locked in for four-year students?

Heck YES!
College tuition should be locked in for four-year students. During my stay at piedmont I've noticed that, my class size has dropped dramatically. My freshman class seemed very large. As a junior, I almost feel like a minority. Personally, I believe that many students transfer or drop out of Piedmont due to financial problems.… Post the First Comment

Opinions Battle: Should college tuition be locked in for four-year students?

Heck NO!!
College tuition should not be locked in for four year students. While this may sound like a great idea for those of us who don't have a lot of money and rely on student loans and other aid to finance our education, it is not a great idea for the college. Every year the cost of living goes up, thusly, the cost of running a business, or in this case a college, goes up as well.… Post the First Comment

We have seen marked improvement in housing over the past two or so years. We do, however, have one issue with the new housing situation for Fall 2010.… Post the First Comment

Plethora or caliber

Should we be more focused?
There is a plethora of events going on at Piedmont. They're everywhere. Every single night it seems there is a club doing something. Often these events can overlap, and while I think it's excellent that we have such an active campus, I am in a state of contemplation.… Post the First Comment

Why attack Palin?

Writing on hand was permissible
I am willing to wager that at one point in your life, you wrote something important on your hand. Maybe it was an important fact for an exam, an important date, or the all-important number for your recent crush. Did anyone criticize you for it? So why do certain people insist on criticizing Sarah Palin for her use of notes on her hand at the Tea Party Convention on Feb.… Post the First Comment
