What's wrong with the world this week

Usually on April 15 of every year the last beverage on most peoples mind would be tea. April 15 is, of course, tax day and usually by the time this day arrives most Americans are looking for something a little stronger than tea. However, this year tea was on everyone's mind.
Most Americans believe in our new President Barack Obama, and his party in Congress to do whatever they need to do to make sure the economy is fixed. This includes throwing millions of dollars of hard working, tax payer's money at a problem caused by wealthy, usually lazy, business men.
On April 15 this was not at all the message. Instead groups all around the country gathered and held "Tea Parties" to tell the government that they are not happy with the decisions being made, and will not just sit around and let their hard earned money be thrown at a problem that they didn't cause. Even if this didn't work completely, it obviously caused some waves.
The original "Boston Tea Party" which was held in 1773 worked to perfection for the forefathers of our country. They were sick of paying over priced taxes on tea and other goods from Britain. They simply dressed up as Indians and threw all the tea on one of the British boats into the ocean. This cost the British a ton of money, and the future Americans could not be held responsible because no one could prove it. I was, of course, not present during this time, however, I did try to contact the last two surviving participants from the Tea Party, but neither Dick Clark or John McCain would comment, both still saying, "It was Indians." This tea party was also about taxes, but not taxes on particular goods, instead about the income tax many believe is destined to come with the current decisions taking place on Capital hill.
There were hundreds of thousands of people who came out during these demonstrations and many ask why? No tax has been raised since Obama became president except the federal cigarette tax which most Americans do not pay.
Apparently living is a high priority to the majority of people. Many people believe that if the government keeps throwing money at a problem, and raising the already record high national debt, (tax hikes are the only thing that is possible). Obama, to this point, hasn't even brought up the idea of raising taxes on Americans. Of course, he has not come up with any other idea of how to get the money back either. It is almost inevitable that taxes will be raised to fix bad decisions from the last administration, and bad decisions being made currently.
