Look out iPhone, there's something bigger and better coming, and it's called the iPad.
With a design similar to the iPhone, the iPad is a 9.7 inch tablet-style gadget weighing 1.5 pounds and a half-inch thick.
It will be one of Apple's technologies that will be on the market for a much cheaper price than expected.
When the iPad is introduced for public sale in March, it will start out at a cost of $499, which is much less than the expected $1,000.
It will come in three sizes of flash memory storage: 16, 32 or 64 gigabytes. The iPad will be more expensive as the memory gets bigger.
The iPad will come with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities built in. AT&T is offering data plans starting at $14.99 per month.
Like Apple's other gadgets, the iPad can sync to Macintosh and Microsoft computers.
In an article on yahoo.com, Apple CEO Steve Jobs says the iPad will be better when playing games and watching video.
It's also coming with feature such as maps, a calendar and video and iPod software.
Jobs says in order to make a new group of gadgets that do important tasks, they have to be bigger and better than others before them. Jobs says he believes that Apple has done that with the iPad.
