Why do illegal immigrants come to the United States? Why do they risk getting caught or even killed? The obvious answer is money. But what if it's something more? Illegal immigrants want a chance at a life that has more freedom than their country.
Children born to illegal immigrants in the United States should be considered citizens.
Having children of illegal immigrants as citizens, pushes, I think, the fact that they're cheating the system. If the children are citizens then the parents should participate in the responsibilities of a United States parent.
Taxes, census records and federal records would be more legitimate if the immigrant's children were registered as citizens.
It's not the child's fault that the parents are illegally living in the country. The parents want the child to have the benefits of citizenship.
Who wouldn't want their children to receive education and have the opportunity for higher education or job opportunities? The only difference between illegal immigrant parents and U.S. parents is citizenship.
At the very least the children of illegal immigrants, when they become adults, have to contribute to society with their responsibilities of taxes and federal laws as citizens. As adults, the children of illegal immigrants end the line of illegal-living because of their citizenship.
So, when illegal immigrants have children in the United States, I think the children can be citizens. It would stop the illegal immigrant line that evades participating in many of the democratic processes.
This country was founded on the fact of immigrants wanting to have a better life for themselves as well as their children.
We can't be picky about who's allowed to be citizens and who isn't allowed. There are formats and rules that are in place to establish uniformity in citizenship. We all pay bills, taxes, and abide by the rules.
Children of illegal immigrants should become citizens of the United States. It will include them into a society of opportunities and also, encourage the parents to become legal. If the parents become legal citizens then there is stability in security and rights.

I disagree on allowing these children of illegal immigrants to become AUTOMATIC citizens of the United States. There is no guarantee that the parents will, in time, become U. (Continued…)
